As a Front-End developer your duties will include turning wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind. that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
What you will be doing
- Developing features with best practices to enhance the user experience
- Write high-quality, scalable, reusable code and libraries for future use
- Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Ensuring application design is optimized for mobile devices
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends
What must-have skills we are looking for
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript libraries, including jQuery
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS / AngularJS / Vue JS or any advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks
- Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN
- Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Problem-solving attitude

- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
What we expect good to have
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
